Where We Started!
Our History
Justice League started mid 2020 in Pearland, Texas with two friends wanting to find new ways to exercise amid the growing pandemic. The group quickly began to grow as friends in the surrounding neighborhoods saw the group during rides and meeting at a local coffee shop. As ridership increased the group began to explore advanced cycling but also explore how they could utilize their network to positively impact the Pearland community and issues affecting African-Americans in particular.
Justice League was formally organized in the fall 2020 and has blazed a trail around Houston since that time, creating a strong reputation for itself and forming strong relationships with other area cycling clubs. In less than a year of formation, Justice League has attracted a diverse ridership of over 100 cyclists spanning the greater Houston area.
Our Story
Justice League Cycling is a road cycling group located in Pearland, Texas. We organize weekday and weekend group rides and participate in other club rides in the area. In less than a year of formation, Justice League (JL) attracted a diverse ridership spanning the greater Houston, Texas area. Since that time, our network of affiliates and friends has expanded to a national level. Our group comprises cyclists of all levels, from beginners to experienced riders. We are passionate about cycling and promoting a healthy lifestyle through this sport.
Our Community
At JL Cycling, we believe in building relationships and fostering a sense of community among our riders. We welcome cyclists of all backgrounds and strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
Our membership base includes recreational riders, weekend warriors, and state champion crit racers. So whether you are a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, we invite you to join us and become part of our community.
